一、氣體的爆炸下限與溫度有關(guān)。通常,溫度愈高,反應(yīng)速度愈快,爆炸范圍愈大。當(dāng)進(jìn)入催化燃燒裝置的廢氣濃度過大時(shí),催化燃燒裝置的溫度將會(huì)升高,加之自前國(guó)產(chǎn)催化燃燒裝置均未設(shè)置廢氣濃度檢測(cè)和控制設(shè)備,而溫度升高后的廢氣的爆炸下限值將比手冊(cè)給出的值要小,再加上裝置中廢氣成分混合的不均勻性,在局部區(qū)域可能超過高溫條件下廢氣的真實(shí)爆炸下限,則有爆炸的危險(xiǎn)。

二、一般來(lái)講,大多數(shù)廢氣中的成份在同樣爆炸下限濃度下,所含的燃燒熱值可視為相同值,每1%的爆炸下限值約含熱值1868千焦/牛·米勺如果燃燒,即熱值全部用于使廢氣本身升溫,則1%的爆炸下限值的廢氣燃燒可使廢氣升溫15.3℃;當(dāng)廢氣濃度達(dá)到25%的爆炸下限值時(shí),可使廢氣本身溫度升高。
